It all started many years ago with a little smooth black and tan dachshund named Gidget. She was my baby I was only 10 years old and had saved all I had to buy her. She went through my teens with me and was with me when I got married, she was even still around when I had my first baby. I never thought I would have another after her, but I did. Now i have a kennel full of Dachshunds that I love! I have a farm and 8 children total; they have been around my dachshunds their whole life my oldest daughter is married, and she got the grandbabies one,,,,,needless to say it has been the best dog for them. I show in AKC conformation events so the only reason I do this is for my next dog to show, I only have a few litters a year and plan them carefully, sometimes I will have older dogs that did not like the show ring or just did not make the dog I needed. I live in Pine Mountain Georgia, but I am willing to meet close to Rome Georgia because I do go up there to visit family every other week.
